Editing Sessions (4th & 6th January)

I found for these two days to be mildly successful this is because although we were able to progress through editing by continuing to trim scenes and add music, my ideas for colour grading were put down even though my group thought it was a good idea.

Above you can see the idea I thought worked, I planned to add a black and white colour scheme to the scene where the killer is seen walking with the murder weapon, I did this to add effect. This idea was put down because we were told that black & white scenes are only used in flash backs therefore it looks out of place.

We then went on to add red to the actual murder scene to connote anger and murder, as of now we have kept these colour schemes in despite some negative feedback because we have also received positive feedback.

NEXT STEPS:
We now need to add our titles in to our film and continue to work on our music as it is currently not at a high standard and many have said it does not go well with our film.
