Favourite Previous Students work
One student's blog which i found very good and appealing to me is Lara's blog. She had a total of 80 blogs which had a lot of detail and was very consistent. She had used different ICT apps to present her work such as; in-design, scribd, prezi and she has used annotated screen shots.
Firstly her theme for her blog was really good and it blends in and goes well with her total sequence because it has all the connotations of a horror film and her title sequence genre was horror so i thought this was really good, also i thought it was good because it creates a spooky atmosphere when on her blog page.
Lara's title sequence was good in my opinion because it had all the aspects of a horror film. At the start of her title sequence you see the main location of the film and in her case it was a deserted forest and also the non-diegetic music which was a spooky sci-fi type of music kicks in. This shows that it is a horror film and gives it a mysterious vibe. I thought this was good because in horror films the music decides if a moment is funny or scary because it creates more tension. Also i saw that there was a lot of short clips which i think is called 'jump cuts' which i thought it was good because it makes the audience think more and make them more aware because they will be intrigued to find out what is happening.
